The East Bay Genealogical Society was established in 1978 for the purpose of promoting interest in genealogy, biography, and related history.
Meetings are at 10:00am on the second Wednesday of each month. Usually meetings are held in the conference room of the Family History Center of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints (Mormon Temple) on Lincoln Avenue in Oakland, California. This location is subject to change and occasionally meetings are "field trips" to research sites, so be sure to check the calendar for specifics.
Membership is open to all. Annual dues are $15.00 for individuals or organizations and $7.50 for each additional family member. Dues for addresses outside of the United States are $22.50. Fill out and mail in our membership application if you're interested in joining. Send to:
