The Computer Interest Group (CIG), a special interest group of the Colorado Genealogical Society (CGS), operates under the charter issued to the Colorado Genealogical Society by the State of Colorado. The CGS-CIG meets on the second Monday of every month. The CIG now holds its meetings at Christ the King Lutheran Church in southwest Denver, where the CGS starting holding its meetings last June. Here is a map to the CIG meeting place. Stageside chats are held beginning at 7:00 p.m., followed by a short business meeting. On alternate months, there will either be a presented program following the business meeting, or the members will adjourn into workshops. The CGS-CIG library offers periodicals and books available for checkout, discounted price, and an extensive selection of shareware, freeware, and demonstration software for $1.00 per disk.
