My grandmother, unsure of first name, or birthdate, and date of death.
Married to John V. ECHTERNACHT. born in or vicinity of Woodbine. History
very sketchy. Her brothers Homer BAUERLE, and Wilbur BAUERLE, buried in
Woodbine, possibly. Any info on her would be greatly appreciated.

DUPRAY - I am looking to correspond with anyone who knows of the following
families. I am most interested in Jesse's birth. I have a listing
of Jesse's birth on March 7, 1880 to Emma DUPRAY but I would like to know
the other details. They were found living in Mondamin with Frederick and
Nancy DUPRAY in the 1880 census. I would also like the birth date and

ROWE - I am looking for information on James Plymale ROWE
married to Cassander SPURLOCK. Settled in Harrison Co., IA
in the middle 1800's. Prior to moving to IA they lived in
Knox Co., IL. James Plymale had a son named John Ira ROWE
born in Harrison Co., in 1860 and is buried in the Rose Hill
Cemetary in Missouri Valley, IA. Thanks for any help.

HULL - Looking for parents of David John HULL. David Hull was born in Zoar
(Newtown), Fairfield Co., CT, 5 May 1816. David Hull may have lived in
New Haven Co., CT, possibly the town of Waterbury, before and/or after
marriage. David Hull married Rebecca Ann TUTTLE, daughter of Daniel and
Sally TUTTLE of Waterbury, on 28 Feb. 1838, in Waterbury, New Haven Co.,
CT. They had five children: Edwin John, Sarah Jane, Augusta Ann, Irving
Daniel, and James S. They moved to Branch Co., Michigan, about 1852. They
moved to Johnson Co., IA, about 1857. They were in Lincoln Twp., Iowa
Co., IA, in 1870. They moved to Willow Twp., Monona Co., IA, in 1871.
David and Rebecca moved to Dunlap, Harrison Co., IA, in 1881. David died
in Dunlap in 1899, Rebecca in 1892. They are buried in Dunlap.

HANER married Sarah M. Loss on January 1, 1860 in Harrison Co. They had
7 children. Also any information on a Wesley Dickenson CLAYTON who had married an
Anna Marie HANER prior to 1916.

Mary WILLIAMS, wife of August Ferdinand EGGERT, and her
daughter, Hattie, died in a prairie fire in May 1882.
I have reason to believe that this fire occurred in
Harrison County, near Logan. Does anyone know

BAKER - Looking for information on Warren Wm BAKER and Hattie L. SCHMIDT
... Children: Walter Warren Baker, Mary Baker, Wilhemina Baker Lund and
Robert or Glen Baker.
I have the marriage certificate for Walter Warren to Dorthy Loving (my maternal
grandparents). Certificate is dated 15 Feb., 1925. This and Walter Warren's
death certificate state his birth as 1904 in Logan Harrison Co, Iowa. I've
checked with State Vital Records and they do not have his birth certificate.
Warren Wm signed the marriage certificate as Elder W. BAKER, my mother
remembers him as being a Church Elder, in she thinks, the 7th Day Adventist
church. My mother thinks the family may have come out of Missouri.

FRY - Seeking information on James FRY, born abt 1814 NC, married Sallie PICKETT
6 January 1841 in Greene County Indiana. Sallie was born abt 1822 in Indiana.
They are in Greene Co, IN in 1850. The 1856 Iowa Sate Census shows James FRY and
family living in Harrison Co Iowa, Magnolia Twp. They had been in Iowa 2 years.
The following children were born in Indiana: Eva-1844, Solomon Frank-1848 (had a daughter
Sarah Margaret, born 19 Apr 1874), Patty aka Martha-1851 (may have married
a Smith), Patrick-1854. The family is in Magnolia Twp in the 1870 census,
and purchased land in La Grange Twp which was sold in 1876. From Iowa, they may
have moved to California. I am looking for further information on these families.

PRATT - I'm researching PRATT (Julia J., John P., Serena PRATT RILEY). Solomon
J. SMITH married Julia, 28 Feb, 1855 in Clinton Co. They were born in
Swanton, VT to Ezekiel and Lois Mead PRATT. They came to Clinton via OH
and eventually all settled near Little Sioux, Harrison, IA between 1855
and 1860.

I am looking for information on any of these 4 people listed here.
Henry LENTZ was born in Prussia in about 1822.
I have found him in the "History of Harrison County, Iowa";
National Publishing Company, 1891, page 162.
He is listed as having moved into Magnolia, Harrison County, Iowa in
1866. At the time of the publication
of this book (1891) he was listed as living in Logan, Harrison County,
Iowa.
Henry LENTZ's wife, Mary Anna Lestine LENTZ was said to have been born in
Bavaria.
They are listed in the 1880 U.S. Census of Magnolia Township, Harrison
County, Iowa, Page No. 24, Enumeration Dist. No. 82.
Henry LENTZ, age 58.
Anna LENTZ, age 46.
Charles Edward LENTZ is the son of Henry and Mary Anna Lestine LENTZ. He
was born in Logan, Harrison County
Iowa in May of 1870. He can be found in the "History of Harrison
County, Iowa," National Publishing Company, 1891, page 110.
He is listed as being a Photographer there.
He is also listed in the 1880, Magnolia Township, Harrison County, Iowa
U.S. Census, Page No. 24, Enumeration Dist. No. 82.

I am seeking any information I can get on any of these individuals.
(a) When and where did Henry and Mary Anna immigrate to the U.S.
(b) Who are their parents?
(c) What are their specific birth dates and locations?
(d) What was Henry's occupation?
(e) Did they own property?
(f) Did they ever become naturalized citizens?
These are just a few of the questions I have about them. I'd appreciate
any information anyone can give me concerning them.

Eleanor, Louis Velmar and Edward Earl (my grandfather). I need
information mostly on Emma Waltermire. She and Charles were married in
April 1884 and I've not been able to find any further information on

DUGIN, (DUGAN ?), Mary, married to Edward D. BUTCHER sometime in the
1930's early 1940's. Would apprecite any information regarding Mary. She
and Edward were both from Harrison County; and lived there during their
marriage. Edward b: Mar 17, 1912, d: Dec 10, 1995, son of Jerimiah
Butcher and Millie Ann (WILEY) Butcher also of Harrison County.

Our Grandfather William Henry COWAN was born in New York on July 3, 1857.
William was married on Oct. 13,1888 in Messena, NY to Ella Eretha COAKLEY
born on Dec.15,1864 in Ireland. They moved to Brown Co., Ne., then in 1895
they moved to Harrison Co., IA., where they settled. They had 11 children, the names
are: Harrison Thomas (b.8/9/1889), Lena Mae(b.9/20/1890), John Bernard(b.5/19/1892),
LeoVincent, (b.7/25/1894), Warren Frances(8/25/1895), William Edward(12/12/1898),
Alvy (1/19/1901), Viola Eretha(b.2/12/1902), Daniel Elmer(b.8/11/1904),
Alice Catherine(b.12/17/1906), Harold Eugene(b.11/12/1908). We would like
any information on this family Ancestors and Descendants.
