Tishomingo County Historical & Genealogical Society Receives 2008 Frank E. Everett Award

At its annual meeting in Jackson during March, the Mississippi Historical Society honored TCHGS and its historical museum by the presentation of the 2008 Frank E. Everett Award for outstanding contributions to the preservation and interpretation of Mississippi history. The prize included a $300 cash award which will be used in acquiring a display case for the presentation of Tishomingo County Agricultural High School memorabilia.

RaNae Vaughn, Society President, stated "we are committed to being an ambassador for collections care in Tishomingo County history, and are thrilled to receive support conserving our County’s rich heritage."
