GENERAL COMMENTS FOR THIS NEWSPAPER
The data has been supplied by the Griffith Genealogical and Historical Society, and was already being indexed according to their own format before the Ryerson Index existed. Consequently, some of the information normally included in Ryerson is missing.
Neither age nor location details were recorded in the index created by the GG&HS, although by cross-matching different types of notices (eg death and in memoriam), sometimes an age can be calculated when a birth date is given.
(Note - it is a relatively common practice in country areas to publish an obituary without the matching notice.)
