EVANGELINE BRANDLEE

Evangeline Brandlee, age 78 of Aberdeen, died Monday, April 17, 1995 at the Aberdeen living center.

Funeral services were Friday morning, April 21, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aberdeen with the Rev. Gerold Sevig officiating.

Honorary casketbearers were her granddaughters: Jessica Brandlee, Sarina Brandlee, Kari Jo Brandlee, Chelsea Brandlee, Debbie Eisenbeisz, Rhonda Olson, Lisa Coats, Denise Mills, Darlene Vitense, Sheryl Olson and Michelle Brockel.

Active casketbearers were her grandsons: Greg Krutsinger, Mike Wietgrefe, Todd Wietgrefe, Brian Brockel, Jon Brockel, Dennis Blocker, Randy Blocker, Roy Brockel, and Glenn Brockel, Jr.

Evangeline Stolzmark, the daughter of John and Ava (Burgress) Stolsmark, was born in Union Township, Day County near Pierpont on Jan. 1, 1917. Schooling in paper.

She was married to Reuben Brandlee at Aberdeen on Jan. 29, 1938. More on work and life in paper.

Survivors include her husband of Aberdeen; two sons: Rodney Brandlee and Ray Brandlee, both of Aberdeen; four daughters: Mrs. Avis Brockel of Aberdeen Mrs. Myrene Brockel of Selby; Mrs. Evonne Wietgrefe of Aberdeen; and Mrs. Renae Krutsinger of Fargo, ND; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
