PETE IMBERY

The funeral mass for Pete Imbery, age 87 of Hosmer was May 21 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hosmer with Father Richard Fox officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery in Hosmer under the direction of Miller funeral Home in Bowdle.

He died May 17, 1992 at the Senior Citizens Home in Hosmer.

Peter Imbery was born Dec. 17, 1904 at Hosmer to Siegfred and Barbara (Striefel) Imbery. He married Frances Schoch Nov. 8, 1926 at Hosmer. They farmed until 1933 when they moved to Hosmer.

Survivors include three sons: Leslie Imbery of Beecher, IL, Harlan Imbery of Isleton, CA and Louis Imbery of Crete, IL; three brothers: John Imbery and Ben Imbery, both of Aberdeen and Frank Imbery of Parkston; four sisters: Margaret Zimmerman, Badel Davis and Mary Beers, all of California and Claudia Rowlette of Aberdeen; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sept. 12, 1982, an infant son, one brother and four sisters.

Pallbearers were Scott Imbery of Lewisville, TX; Layne Imbery of Steger, IL; George Imbery and Melvin Imbery of Aberdeen; Frank Gisi and Lance Bonen of Hosmer.
