His funeral was Wednesday at Herreid Assembly of god Church with the Rev. Donald Hill officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Herreid with Larson's Funeral Home of Mobridge in charge of arrangements.
Leonhart Deibert, Jr., was born March 7, 1912 to Leonhart and Wilhelmina (Becktold) Deibert at Herreid. More on early life in paper.
He married Atoline Fuehrer on March 7, 1939. She died in 1949.
He married Edna Faydo in April 1950. They continued on the farm until their retirement in 1970. She died June 30, 1992.

Survivors include two brothers: Arthur Deibert of Bowdle and Herbert Deibert of Bothell, WA; and two sisters: Mrs. Phillipp (Bertha) Fuchs of Wichita Falls, TX; and Mrs. Thurman (Florentina) LeClert of Tracy, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, six brothers, and six sisters.
