ANNA (WIEPKING) LONG

Anna Elizabeth Long, age 86 of Auburn, CA, died July 5, 1995. Her funeral was Saturday, July 8, at St. Paul Lutheran church in Auburn, CA with the Rev. Eugene Roeder officiating. Burial was at Park View Cemetery at Stockton, CA.

Anna Long, daughter of Albert and Mary Wiepking, Sr., was born at Bowdle on Sept. 2, 1908. She attended Edmunds County Country School and bowdle Public School. She married Peter Stolz in 1938 and the marriage was blessed with two children. Peter Stolz died in 1960.

Anna worked as a technician at the State Hospital in Stockton, CA for 10 years. In May 1965 she married Andy Long in Virginia City, NV.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters: Maryann Chugg of Orangevale, CA and Elaine Jones of Fair Oakes, CA; two brothers: Albert Wiepking of Bowdle and Henry Wiepking of Santa Clara, CA; two sisters: Ida Wentz of Stockton, CA and Lillian Taccolini of Santa Clara, CA; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
