REUBEN C. BRANDLEE

Reuben C. Brandlee, age 86 of Aberdeen, died Aug. 14, 1995 at the Aberdeen Living Center.

His funeral was Friday, Aug. 18, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aberdeen with the Rev. Gerold Sevig officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen.

Reuben Clifford Brandlee was born June 26, 1909 in Union township, Day County, near Pierpont to Edward and Eline (Enstad) Brandlee. He attended rural school near Pierpont and remained on the family farm. He married Evangeline Stolsmark on Jan. 29, 1938 at Aberdeen. They farmed on the family homestead near Pierpont. She died April 17, 1995 in Aberdeen.

Personal life in paper.

Survivors include two sons: Rodney and Ray Brandlee, both of Aberdeen; four daughters: Avis Brockel and Evonne Wietgrefe, both of Aberdeen; Myrene Brockel of Selby; and Ranae Krutsinger of Dickinson, ND; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers, one sister and one infant brother.

Honorary casket bearers, all granddaughters, were Jessica Brandlee, Kari Jo Brandlee, Rhonda Olson, Denis Mills, Sheryl Brown, Sarina Brandlee, Chelsea Brandlee, Lisa Coats, Darlene Vitense, Michelle Brockel, and Debbie Eisenbeisz.

Casket bearers, all grandsons, were Greg Krutsinger, Mike Wietgrefe, Todd Wietgrefe, Brian Brockel, John Brockel, Dennis Blacker, Randy Blocker, Roy Brockel, and Glenn Brockel, Jr.
