EDWIN LEVI KRAUSE

Funeral service for Edwin (Levi) Krause, age 86 of Mobridge, were Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge with Rev. E. Douglas Heskin, Rev. Sue Wolf, and Intern Cathy Peotter officiating.

Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Larson's Funeral Home of Mobridge. More on service in paper.

Mr. Krause died Aug. 18, 195 at the Mobridge Care Center.

Edwin Levi Krause was born Feb. 18, 1909 at Java to Israel R. and Mary (Diegel) Krause. Schooling and work in paper.

On Jan. 1, 1936 he married Irene Fiechtner at Java. Military and work in paper.

Survivors include his wife of Mobridge; two sons: Russell Krause and his wife Margaret of Charlotte, NC; and Kenneth Krause and wife, Beverly, of Edmond, OK; two daughters: Judith Halamka of Port Huron, MI; and Lorna Watkins and husband, Ed, of St. Lawrence; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother: Orphus Krause of Jacksonville, FL and three sisters: Cele Elsing of Aberdeen; Geri Richardson of Vancouver, WA; and Mrs. Merle (Pat) Wolf of Mobridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
