EDWARD ROESCH

Edward (Ed) Roesch, age 86, of Aberdeen, and formerly of Roscoe, died at his home on Sept. 19, 1995.

His funeral was Friday, Sept. 22, at the United Church of Christ, Roscoe with the Rev. Al Schmierer officiating. Burial followed at Morningside Cemetery at Roscoe under the direction of Miller-Huebl Funeral Home of Aberdeen.

Edward Roesch was born on May 1, 1909 at rural Roscoe to Freiderich and Rosina (Treftz) Roesch. He attended rural school and began working on his parents farm near Rose. He married Irene Ulmer on Dec. 25, 1939 at Hosmer. following their marriage they continued to live on the farm where he farmed throughout his lifetime until his health failed and they moved to Aberdeen.

Survivors include his wife of Aberdeen; one son: Dale Roesch of Roscoe; two daughters: Mrs. Clyde (LaVaughn) Pietz of Pierre and Mrs. Terry (Judy) Cox of Aberdeen; one sister Anne Larson of Aberdeen; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters, and one infant daughter.
