Melvin Moser, the son of Jacob and Christina Baer Moser, was born Oct. 29, 1919 at Eureka. He received his education in Bowdle and graduated from Bowdle High School. He then attended Business College in Chillicothe, MO.
On Nov. 26, 1941 he married Beryl Tate in Spencer, IA. Following their marriage, he joined the Air Force and fought during World War II. More about his military and businesses was detailed in the paper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Larry; and two brothers: Edwin and Raymond.
Survivors include his wife of Spencer, IA; two daughters: Janet Clarke and husband, Jim of Lakewood, CO; Joan Brink of Spencer, IA; three grandson; one brother: Armin of Loveland, CO; two sisters: Irma Hoellworth of Lodi, CA; and Mildred Chambers of Dexter, KS; other relatives and friends.
