DE LORIS L. BAUER

The funeral for DeLoris L. Bauer, age 67, of Bowdle, was Saturday morning, Aug. 7, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bowdle with the Rev. Steven Handorf officiating.

Burial followed in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home in Bowdle in charge of arrangements.

She died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1993 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

DeLoris L. Schlepp was born Aug. 26, 1925 to Lena (Hochstetter) and John W. Schlepp in Java. She attended school in the area.

She married Alvin R. Bauer on March 14, 1943 at Java. She lived her entire life in the Bowdle area.

She was a member of the ABC Extension Club for 37 years, and of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bowdle and St. John's Ladies Aid for 50 years.

Survivors include her husband of Bowdle; two sons: Larry R. Bauer of Gretna, NE, and John A. Bauer of Aberdeen; four daughters: Mrs. Larry (Linda L.) Feickert of Northwood ND; Mrs. Milt (Wanda L.) Ottenbacher of Aberdeen; Mrs. Wayne (Gail M.) Snyder of Watertown and Mrs. Jerry (Barbara A.) Williams of Eldorado, KS; one sister: Mrs. Mahlon (Arelene) Gross of Aberdeen; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Casketbearers were Brian Feickert of Fargo, ND; Allen Zakrzewski of Sioux Falls; Byron Bauer of Omaha, NE; Dennis Beine of Grand Forks, ND; Tim Gross and Ton Gross, both of Aberdeen.
