MARIE C. GROSS

Marie C. Gross, age 85 of Hopkins, MN, and formerly of Bowdle, died Saturday, July 16, 1994 at her home. Burial of her cremains will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Bowdle City Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Fox officiating.

Marie C. Culhane was born Aug. 31, 1908 at Elkton to John and Ida (Colliton) Culhane. School information in paper.

She married Gardner B. Gross on Sept. 11, 1932 at Brookings. Teaching and locals in paper.

She taught several years in Bowdle. Her husband died Nov. 27, 1970, and she moved.

She is survived by one son: John G. Gross and his wife, June, of Minneapolis, MN; a daughter-in-law: Glenna Gross of Portales, NM; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one brother, and two sisters.
