HENRY STOECKER

Henry Stoecker, age 94, of Aberdeen, died Sept. 6, 1994 at the Americana Healthcare Center.

His funeral was Friday, Sept. 9, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aberdeen with the Rev. Curt Seefeldt officiating. Burial was at Riverside Memorial Park at Aberdeen under the direction of Miller-Huebl Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Henry Stoecker was born on March 21, 1900 at Hosmer to Jacob and Caroline (Gienger) Stoecker. More on schooling in paper.

He married Emma Retzer on Dec. 15, 1921, at Hosmer. More on farming in paper. Mrs. Stoecker died Sept. 23, 1990.

Survivors include one son: Loven of Onaka; three daughters: Mrs. Milbert (Lorina) Pfeifle of Leola; Mrs. Richard (Lu) Van Beek of Aberdeen; and Mrs. Derald (Leona) Kern of Faulkton; four sisters: Mrs. John (Caroline) Judnt of Brookings; Mrs. Lydia Schneider of Aberdeen; Mrs. Martha Huber of McLaughlin; and Mrs. Rose Eisenbeisz of Aberdeen; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, five brother, one sister, and three grandchildren.
