Funeral services were held recently for Theodore J. (Ted) Bieber of Elk Grove, CA, who died Oct. 4, 1994, at the age of 70.

Pastor Darrell Deuel of St. Peter's Church officiated at the ceremony which was held at the Lodi Funeral Home. Interment was in Lodi Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Bieber was born and grew up in Bowdle. He married the former Elsie Christina Litz on Oct. 12, 1933 at Hosmer. The family moved to Elk Grove, CA, in 1937. More on moves in paper.

He is survived by his wife of Elk Grove, CA; his daughter, Marlene Colbert of Sacramento, CA; his son and wife, Harvey and Kay Bieber of Sacramento, CA; his brother, Emil Bieber of Elk Grove, CA; and two sisters: Martha Hoffman of Elk Grove, CA; and Katherina Schumacher of Hosmer.

He also leaves behind six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Two sisters (Johanna and Lydia Bieber) and six brothers (John, Fredrich, Christian, Gidion, Reinhold and Richard Carl Bieber) preceded him in death.
