Her funeral was held Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Aberdeen with the Rev. Dennis Hansen officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens at Aberdeen under the direction of Miller-Huebl Funeral Home of Aberdeen.
Viona Schnabel was born on July 16, 1928 at Hosmer to Edwin and Katie (Bauer) Schnabel. This is where she grew up and attended school. On Nov. 3, 1945 she married Ervin Bohle at Hosmer where they lived and farmed for two years.

Survivors include her husband of Aberdeen; two sons: Dallas Bohle of Aberdeen and Fred Bohle of North Platte, NE; one brother, Raymond L. Schnabel of Aberdeen and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
