PAULINE HIEB

Pauline Hieb, age 83, of Hosmer, died Friday, Jan. 27, 1995 at the Hosmer Senior Citizen Home. Her funeral was Feb. 1, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hosmer with the Rev. Bruce Falksen officiating. Burial followed at Bethany Cemetery at Hosmer under the direction of Miller Funeral Home of Bowdle.

Pauline Martel was born April 18, 1911 to Frederick and Elizabeth (Henne) Martel northeast of Hosmer. More on school and early work in paper.

On Nov. 23, 1928 she married Christian A. Hieb at Eureka. More on work in paper.

Survivors include her husband of Aberdeen; one son: Willard H. Hieb of Hosmer; two daughters: Lucille Fischer of Menasha, WI and Delores Weber of Sioux Falls; two sisters: Mrs. Christina Schnaible of the Hosmer Senior Citizens Home; and Mrs. Alvina Fischer of Aberdeen; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son in infancy, five brothers, and two sisters.
