HERBERT JUNG

The funeral for Hubert Jung, age 85 of Hosmer, was held Friday, Feb. 3, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hosmer.

Burial followed at Bethany Cemetery at Hosmer. He died Jan. 31, 1995 at Bowdle Hospital.

Hebert Jung was born to Fred and Caroline (Will) Jung on April 1, 1909 northeast of Hosmer. More in schooling in paper.

He married Caroline Gramm on Aug. 11, 1931 at Ipswich. More on life in paper. Caroline died March 31, 1960.

He married Flora (Ulmer) Gaub on July 4, 1974 in Hosmer.

Survivors include his wife, Flora V. Jung of Hosmer. Five sons: Jerald Jung of Corvalllis, OR; Harley Jung of Milwaukee, OR; Mervin Jung of Fresno, CA; Allen Jung of Albany, OH; and John Jung of Hosmer; one daughter: Lucille Best of Portland, OR; one stepson: Glen Gaub of New Ulm, MN; two brothers: Eugene Jung of Hosmer and Gideon Jung of Roscoe; two sisters: Mrs. Bertha Gaub and Mrs. Leah Keim of St. Paul, MN; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchidren, three great-great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren, and six step great-granchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his first wife in 1969, five brothers, and one sister.
