RUEBEN LEIDHOLT

Rueben Leidholt, age 72 of Fort Pierre, and formerly of Bowdle, died Monday, Feb. 13, 1995, at St. Mary's in Pierre.

Rueben Phillip Leidholt was born Jan. 13, 1923, to Henry and Lydia (Schlepp) Leidholt in Lowry. The family moved to the Bowdle area where he was raised and educated.

He married Ruth Dirksen on Jan. 7, 1951, in Bancroft. They owned and operated Rube's Bait Shop in Fort Pierre and Sunset Lodge. More info in paper.

Survivors include his wife of Fort Pierre; two sons and their families: Mike Leidholt and wife, Betty and their daughter, Michelle and son, Phillip, of Pierre; and James Leidholt and wife, Patty and daughter, Stacy of Pierre; three brothers: Ted Leidholt of Bowdle; Jerry Leidholt of Pierre; and Bert Leidholt of Minot, ND; four sisters: Bernice (Mrs. Norman) Lindbloom of Pierre; Mabel Schumacher of Pierre; Lucille Schaible of St. Paul, MN; and Janice (Mrs. Danny) Bergeson of Fort Pierre.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Shirley David and Vivian Schumacher.
