CONRAD (C.B.) MENZIA

Conrad (C.B.) Menzia, age 85 of Roscoe, died at the Bowdle Hospital on Saturday, March 11, 1995.

The Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, March 14, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church at Roscoe with Fr. Edward Burian officiating.

Conrad (C.B.) Menzia, the son of Martin and Elizabeth (Volk) Menzia, was born at Roscoe on May 12, 1909. He attended school there and worked on area farms and then he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad until 1933.

He married Julia Fuhrmann on Nov. 9, 1932 at Roscoe. More work and organizations in the paper.

He is survived by his wife of Roscoe; one daughter: Mrs. Arnold (Jenny) Schumacher of Rapid City; his twin brother: Fred Menzia of Strasburg, N.D.; and another brother: John Menzia of Aberdeen; two sisters: Mrs. Ann Meier of Aberdeen; and Mrs. Mary Bertrand of Minneapolis, MN; one granddaughter: Mrs. Kevin (Joan) Myers of Rapid City; and great-granddaughter: Rebecca Myers of Rapid City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, one in infancy.
