ELMER BARTH

Elmer Norman Barth, age 74 of Lodi, CA and formerly of Bowdle, died March 2, 1995 in a local convalescent hospital following a short illness. He was born Sept. 23, 1920 at Hosmer.

Mr. Barth married Melita Voegel in South Dakota on Nov. 2, 1941. They lived in Washington for two years and later returned to Bowdle where he lived for 23 years, before moving to Lodi, CA in 1967.

Survivors include three sons: Larry and Troy Barth, both of Lodi CA; and John Barth of Idaho; five daughters: Janice Hofer of South Dakota; Dianna Geist, Marlene Solano, and Nancy Ramirez, all of Lodi, CA; and Sherry Eckart of Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother: Walter Barth of South Dakota; and two sisters: Ella Schick of Lodi, CA; and Olivia Aldinger of South Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 29, 1991; one son: Wayne Barth who died in the Vietnam War; one daughter: Sheila Barth; his parents: John and Teresa (Becker) Barth; and one grandson: Jason Barth.
