EDNA BEBERMEYER

The funeral service for Edna Bebermeyer, age 89, will be Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m. at the United Church of Christ in Ipswich. The Rev. Susan Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in the Ipswich City Cemetery under the direction of Hein funeral Home of Ipswich.

Edna Kathryn Gross was born April 9, 1905 to John C. and Lydia K. (Gundert) Gross at Bowdle. She attended school in Bowdle, more details in the paper.

She married Merrill B. Bebermeyer on June 30, 1939. He was a partner in the Edmunds County Publishing Company that printed the Ipswich Tribune and Roscoe Independent.

Her husband died Jan. 3, 1971.

She is survived by one son, Robert Bebermeyer; his wife, Linda and three grandchildren: Bryan, Michelle, and Daniel, all of Monterey, CA; and one brother, Robert G. Gross of Ipswich.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Gardner and Maurice Gross.
