ROOTS-L Resources: About the Lists from the Library of Congress

    Several of the ROOTS-L files consist of listings from the catalog of the Library of Congress. Many people find the listings to be confusing, and various attempts have been made to explain them. Below are some of those attempts. Hopefully one or another will prove helpful.
    genealog.lc-info: How to order copies, and what the fields are in the LC files.
    genealog.lc-nums: What the fields are in the LC files, and how to order copies. (Yes, it's a lot like lc-info above...)
