Comments: Hello and Happy New Year! This is a terrific
site you're developing... it's getting late so I can't stay for
now but I have you bookmarked!! My ancestor George V. Stetler
b. 1739 had his son Henry Baptised in Altalaha Church in Rehrersburg
PA on Easter Sunday 1769... but can't find out where George came
from.... circumstatial evidence that he married Eva Catherine
Meyer/Moyer. Possibly his father was Henry Stetler b. 1706 and
buried at Leidig's cemetary from Montgomery Co. PA but no proof?
Suspect we're from Pfalz region in Palatinate but no proof. Keep
up the great work and keep me posted... have been searching for
25 years.... Schyler Brossman, Annette Burgert have helped considerably.

Comments: I believe my ancestor Cuthburt Hayhurst the 2nd
is listed as Cuthburt Hurst in your list of Penn. landowners in
1682. According to information available to me he traveled from
England with William Penn on the Welcome and settled in Bucks
County PA. in 1682. He built a 7 room stone house on a hill. This
house stood until 1966 when it was torn down for Commericial expansion.
His wife was Mary Rudd. They had 6 children.

family members. Original ancesters William and Eliza Sykes had
about a dozen kids, and lived in West Newton, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.

Trying to find someone to talk to about a missing man from Knotts
Island, North Carolina who is said to have married a woman from
Philadelphia, practiced medicine there and died young--no children.
Some say here he never married and died young. Anyone heard of
Dennis Simmons? Born sometime after 1806?

I have an ancestor who lived a long time in Penn. by I've not
been able to find him in Penn. records. He was John Slover - fought
in Rev. War & was a scout in the Sandusky expedition affair
disaster. Have been unable to learn who his wife was. He was born
1755 Augusta Co., Virg. & died in 1813 in Logan Co., Ky. Was
captured twice by Indians. He lived for a long time in Penn. after
his childhood capture. I'm interested to learn more about his
