KOSICK, Myrtle Violet (nee Reed) On January 22, 1998, Myrtle Violet Kosick of Edmonton 
passed away at the age of 79 years. She will be sadly missed by her son, Joe (Lorrainne); 
daughter, Thelma L'Heureux; six grandchildren, Rick (Betsy), Lori (Rick), Brian (Monica), 
Michael, Joe, Les (Rachelle); three great-granddaughters, Cristina, Jessica, Carly; one sister, 
Bobbe Sturgeon of Belleville, Ontario, also numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased 
by her husband, Joe in 1987; her parents, Herb and Barbara Reed; two sisters, Edna and Barbara. 
Prayers will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home on Sunday, January 25, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. 
Reverend Leo Cordeau will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Edmund Catholic Church on 
Monday, January 26, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A special 
thank you to the Doctors and staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their special care. Friends who 
so wish may make memorial donations directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Floral
