HOMER, Dorothy Leona (nee Young) On January 21, 1998 Mrs. Dorothy 
Homer passed away at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her children, Gary 
(Ann) Homer (Edmonton), Gail Homer (Ontario) and Bev (Ron) Peters (Halifax, 
Nova Scotia); grandchildren, Cathy (Jim) Sheppard (Edmonton), Doug Homer 
(Edmonton), Kelly Smyth (Ontario) and Geoffrey and Morgan Peters, (Halifax, 
Nova Scotia). She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Bianca Smyth in 
1990. She also leaves to mourn her brothers, Coral (Elsie) Young, Roland 
(Bessie) Young, Fred (Ethel) Young, and John (Dorothy) Young, all of Lachute, 
Quebec, and her sister, Gladys Young of Calgary, and numerous nieces and 
nephews. Upon her request no funeral service will be held and cremation has 
already taken place. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff 
of Central Park Lodges (South) for their kind and excellent care. Edmonton
