The submitter has given permission to the Alberta Digital Archives to store the file permanently for free access. *************************************************************************** LEMISKI, Rosie Our family was deeply saddened by the death of our Mother and our Baba, Rosie Lemiski of Edmonton, Alberta, on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the age of 98. Lovingly remembering Rosie are daughters, Emily (Roy) Finstad and Jeanette Dublanko; grandchildren, Charles, Jacqueline, Leanne, Christopher, Trevor, and Lorianne along with their spouses and families. Also remembering Gramma are Judy vanEck, Raymond Warner and their families. Sadly missing her but knowing that Baba is now in Heaven are her dear great-grandchildren. Also saddened by her death is Rosie's sister, Franciszka and many nieces and nephews all in Poland; as well as her cousins from the Paranich family in Alberta. Rosie was predeceased by her husband, Frank Lemiski in 1976; daughter, Aneila; step-children, Cezon and Helene; grandsons, Brian and Patrick; and two brothers and two sisters in Poland. A Prayer Vigil will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, 11828-85 Street, Edmonton, where a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Patrick Baska as the celebrant. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Cemetery in Mundare, AB. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice.
