ST. JEAN 1904-01-30 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Xavier ST. JEAN (St. John as we called him, died

yesterday in Edmonton at his sister's house, Mrs. Blais, on Main Street after an illness of two

months. Xavier came to Edmonton in 1880 and built the firth house in this town. At one time he

owned the Hotel du Canada now the Queens Hotel. Mr. St. Jean was born April 4, 1944 in

Chicoutimi, Saguenay, P.Q. Funeral to be held in St. Joahchim's Roman Catholic Church.
