| acquaintance of Mrs. McLean, mother of James A. McLean, of the real estate firm of Green and |
| McLean, of this city, will learn with regret of her death this morning at her home in Toronto. The |
| deceased spent the summer here and made many friends. She was in her 69th years at the time |
| of her death, the cause of which was pneumonia. She leaves a family of 8 of whom 3 are |
| residing in Edmonton - the 2 Miss McLean in the Hudson's Bay store and Mr.. J.A. McLean. |

| transferred to Winnipeg in July last, died of typhoid fever on Saturday and was buried Monday. |

| District, while cutting grain ran the binder over and cut off the legs of his 3 year old son, who was |
| hidden among the grain. The child died. |

1905-05-09 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - George McQUARRIE on Wednesday, May 3, a young lad |
| of 18 years who had been in the care of the city for several weeks. His mother lives in Montreal |
| and his father, who was with the lad during the winter cannot be located, but is thought to be |
| working at Dinwoodie. The deceased was suffering from consumption and apparently |
| accompanied his father to Alberta in search of food. But lacking proper care and climate in which |
| life out to be prolonged, the youth grew worse and uncomplainingly coughed his life away. |

1905-07-03 - Fillmore Assa, Saskatchewan Died - Finlay McRAE While ploughing during the |
| progress of a severe electrical storm in this vicinity on Saturday, Finlay McRae, a farmer, was |
| struck by lightning and instantly killed. |
