KELLETT 1907-11-02 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Thomas KELLETT ex-MLA, died this morning at this

home, aged 47.

KELLY 1907-02-11 - Belleville, Ontario Died - James C. KELLY Neighbours found James C. Kelly, living

near Lamable, dying and his wife and 5 children actually starving. There was no fire in the house

and the thermometer registered 25 below zero. Kelly died, and but for the arrival of neighbours,

the whole family would probably have perished.

KENNEDY 1907-12-26 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Alexander KENNEDY The death occurred on Wed. of

Alexander Kennedy in the 80th year of his age. He has resided here for the past two years

coming here from Guelph, Ont. He leaves a wife and two daughters Mrs. John Owens, Edmonton,

and Mrs. Fred Ross, Edmonton; and three sons, Hugh Kennedy, Victoria B.C., R.J. Kennedy,

Winnipeg, and William Kennedy, Bolton, Mich.

KENNY 1907-08-03 - Calgary, Alberta Died - Thomas KENNY was run over and killed on the CPR track

at Beddington, 9 miles north of Calgary.

KENNY 1907-05-16 - Windsor, Ontario Died - William KENNY The dead body of Wm. Kenny was found

yesterday in one of the big fermenting vats in the Wilker Distillery at Walkerville. Kenny had

fallen in and was drowned.

KENZIE 1907-01-14 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. C. KENZIE The death occurred on Sat. afternoon of

Mrs. C. Kenzie at 176.6th St. The remains were removed to the home of friends at 18 Namayo

Ave. from which the funeral will take place on Tues. at 2:30 to the Edmonton Cemetery.

KERR 1907-02-01 - Lethbridge, Alberta Died - William KERR William Kerr. one of the old timers of

Lethbridge, after a few days illness, died last Monday at the age of (78?) years. The late Mr. Kerr

was born in Scotland.

KERR 1907-11-11 - Lloydminister, Saskatchewan Died - James KERR died here when she was thrown

from a wagon two weeks ago, striking on her head which made her unconscious till her death. The

deceased came from Scotland about two months ago and leaves a family of 5 children.

KICEZYK 1907-06-18 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Joseph KICEZYK The Galician Joseph Kicezyk, who was

found last Tues. on Alex McLennans farm with a bullet in his head, died yesterday.

KIDD 1907-02-11 - Ottawa, Ontario Died - George Nelson KIDD member for Carleton in the Ontario

House, died at his home at Carp yesterday from typhoid fever. He was 43 years of age.

KIIHN 1907-07-09 - Strathcona, Alberta Died - Mrs. Mary KIIHN The sudden death of Mrs. Mary Kiihn

took place last evening at the home other son, a farmer who resides some six miles south of

Strathcona. Death was pronounced as having been from heart failure. The deceased was 70

KILLEN 1907-11-18 - Toronto, Ontario Died - James KILLEN employed as gardener at Loretto Abbey

Falls, was struck by a train while walking home on Sun. morning and killed.

KING 1907-02-01 - Kingston, Ontario Died - Gordon KING was crushed to death today while logging

near Plevna. The logs skidded off the sleigh; he slipped; fell under and was squeezed to death.

KING 1907-12-03 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - E. (Child of) KING The death occurred yesterday of the

infant child of Mr. and Mrs. E. Knight Donald St.

KING 1907-02-21 - Portage La Prairie, Manitoba Died - William KING passed away peacefully at the

age of 58. The deceased lady resided here for nearly 20 years. Death also claimed James

McKinney. Deceased had been drinking heavily.

KINSEY 1907-07-12 - Paddle River, Alberta Died - Miss. KINSEY The body of Miss Kinsey who was

drowned in the Paddle River on the 4th inst. Was brought to the mortuary. Miss Kinsey formerly

lived in this city.

KIRK 1907-12-30 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Thomas B. KIRK died at the Alberta Sanitarium

yesterday. Remains will be shipped east to Ivanhoe, Ont. for interment.

KIRKWOOD 1907-09-24 - Davidson, Saskatchewan Died - Vernon KIRKWOOD The dead body of Vernon

Kirkwood, aged 2 1/2 years who strayed from home Thurs., was found on Sunday.

KLESKI 1907-09-23 - Toronto, Ontario Died - George KLESKI Two lives were lost in a fire that burned the

R. and Co. steamer Picton to the water's edge Sat. Miss Winnie Hatch of Montreal, who was

engaged to Jas. McMillan, cook on the steamer, was burned to death and Geo. Kleski, a German,

was suffocated.

KNAPP 1907-12-26 - Toronto, Ontario Died - J.A. KNAPP died from what is thought to be an accident with

a street car.

KNOX 1907-09-12 - Ottawa, Ontario Died - John KNOX A bad wreck occurred last night on the CPR

Montreal-Ottawa line as a result of which John Knox, a fireman was killed. Mr. Knox resided with

his mother at Blackburn, near Ottawa.

KULUK 1907-04-25 - Innifree, Alberta Died - Mr. KULUK A loaded shotgun exploded and the contents

entered the breast of a Russian named Kuluk. The victim was 25 years of age, married and

leaves a wife and two children.

KYLE 1907-07-27 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Frank KYLE A drowning accident occurred near Sunnyside

during a thunderstorm Thurs. night when the launch Danline with 10 young men in it upset. Only

one survived. Dead are: Joseph Irwin. aged 20, bricklayer; Jack Irving. 20; Walter Dudin

(Dundm),20; Frank Kyle. 18; Frank Daly. 19; Dawson Nehrgang, CPR switchman; Gordon LeRoc

trainer for the Shamrocks; R.G. Miller. 19; John Irvine.

LA CHAPELLE 1907-12-07 - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Died - Hector LA CHAPELLE homesteader 85 miles from

here died as a result of loss of blood when he got his hand caught in the thresher on which he

was working. He leaves a wife and two babies.

LA FRANCHAZ 1907-07-25 - Ottawa, Ontario Died - Louis LA FRANCHAZ A member of the civil service for 44

years and a messenger of all the premiers since Confederation was Louis La Franchaz, who died

yesterday.

LACOCK 1907-12-11 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Captain F.H. LACOCK enroute from London to Victoria,

was found this morning dead beside the tracks two miles west of Montreal Junction.
