and with the strong conviction in her mind that it was God's will that her child should die, Mrs.

John J. Lisle, of 593 Jessie Ave., Fort Rouge, murdered by strangulation her 9 year old daughter

LISTER 1907-06-25 - Chippewa, Ontario Died - Albert LISTER At Chippewa Fri. night, Albert Lister, aged

14 who could not swim, dived into a deep place and drowned.

LITTLE 1907-12-06 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Edith LITTLE December 6 - Winnipeg - Edith Little, the 16

year old daughter of Mr. Little of Fork River, choked to death last night eating an apple.

LITTLE 1907-07-12 - Niagra Falls, Ontario Died - Edward "Big Ed" LITTLE As a result of a barroom brawl,

Edward Little, known as "Big Ed", is dead.

LITTLE 1907-08-20 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - W. LITTLE a young man who resided with his parents

was drowned today in the capsize of a boat at Winnipeg Beach.

injuries sustained when he was gored by a bull at White Whale Lake.

LOCK 1907-12-05 - Kamloops, British Columbia Died - Sam LOCK Sam Lock. a Chinaman was hanged

in the jail yard here today

LONG 1907-07-20 - Calgary, Alberta Died - Francis P. LONG Died on July 13, Francis P. Long aged 73

years.

LOSERMAN 1907-07-30 - Bankhead, Alberta Died - J.K. LOSERMAN brakeman, was killed Sun. night when

the train passed over him.

LOUSKA 1907-03-13 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - John LOUSKA Mistaken for a wolf, John Louska, a boy

living on his father's farm near Dougold 14 miles from the city was fatally shot on Thurs.

LOVE 1907-11-21 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. Harriett LOVE The death occurred this morning at the

home of her daughter, Mrs. Copp, of Mrs. Harriett Love after a very brief illness.

LOVELL 1907-12-06 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Henry LOVELL M.P. for Stanstead died last night after a

long illness. He was aged 79.

LOVERIDGE 1907-11-28 - Niagra Falls, Ontario Died - Cornellie B. LOVERIDGE of Buffalo committed suicide

by jumping into the Niagara River from Green Is.

LOWEIKO 1907-11-18 - Ottawa, Ontario Died - J. LOWEIKO a Pole employed by the Ottawa Gas Co., was

working on the gas main this morning when the gas exploded and the top of his head was blown

off. He died in a few minutes.

LOWERY 1907-03-26 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Charles H. LOWERY The death occurred last night at the

Misericordia Hospital, after a short illness, of Charles H. Lowery. The deceased had been in the

city for the past year. He was about 21 years of age. Remains will be sent east on the afternoon

C.P.R. train tomorrow to the old home of the deceased at Frankford, Ont. where interment will

take place. The deceased had only one brother, James, living in this city. March 30 - Edmonton -

The death occurred last night at the General Hospital of C.A. Stone, a miner at the Edmonton

Coal Company's mine. The deceased had been ill for 3 weeks with typhoid fever.

LUCAS 1907-01-04 - Ponoka, Alberta Died - Howard Arnold LUCAS The death of Howard Arnold LUCAS,

second son of the late S. B. Lucas of Ponoka is announced.

LUDWIG 1907-02-02 - Halifax, Nova Scotia Died - Sapper A. LUDWIG Sapper A. Ludwig of the Royal

Canadian Engineers fired two revolver shots through his mouth in an outbuilding at S. Barracks

and was dead by the time the members of the corps, attracted by the report of the shots,

LUTZ 1907-12-17 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mary LUTZ The death occurred last evening of Mary Lutz

who has been ill for a short time At the Misericordia Hospital. The remains will be taken to

LYON 1907-12-06 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Mabel LYON the 5 year old daughter of Eugene Lyon, died

as a result of eating canned tomatoes.

LYONS 1907-06-05 - Windsor, Ontario Died - Patrick LYONS one of the oldest conductors on the

Michigan Central, having been in service for 34 years, is dead.

MacAULEY 1907-07-25 - Southampton, Ontario Died - Graham MacAULEY 12 years old, was drowned in the

river today.

MACCUE 1907-07-25 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Thomas MACCUE After a long period of terrible agony

caused by being burned about the limbs by boiling wax, Mrs. Thomas Maccue, 72, of Emerson,

succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.

MacDONALD 1907-07-08 - Montreal, Quebec Died - W.T. MacDONALD A fierce forest fire near Reeds Stn.

sixty miles from here killed W.T. MacDonald, an Englishman. The flames drove him into the lake

where he drowned.

MacDONALD 1907-01-02 - Vancouver, British Columbia Died - William Allen MacDONALD whose body was

found floating in False Creek, Vancouver on Thurs. afternoon was entirely accidental according to

the Vancouver papers and occurred as the result of the condition of MacDonald when he

managed to escape form St. Paul's Hospital.

MacDONALD 1907-04-09 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Adam Ferguson MacDONALD The funeral of Adam

Ferguson MacDonald, for 27 years principal of Wellesley Public School, took place on Sat. from

his residence, Isabella St. He was 71 years old.

MacDONALD 1907-11-09 - Toronto, Ontario Died - J.A. MacDONALD 117 Arthur St. dropped dead this morning

while washing himself in the bathroom. He was 48 years old.

MacFARLANE 1907-06-11 - Ottawa, Ontario Died - Thomas MacFARLANE F.R.S.C Dominion analyst and one

of Canada's foremost scientists dropped dead tonight at Rockcliffs rifle range. He was in his

MacGILLIVRAY 1907-07-04 - Kingston, Ontario Died - Hilda MacGILLIVRAY the 2 year old daughter of R.J.

MacGillivray, was run down by a street car when she was wheeling her toy cart and her doll over

the tracks.
