| horses. He was 7 years old and son of Albert Begin, proprietor of the Pacific Hotel. |

| drove a team for R. Moffat of Ross Ave. was killed late yesterday afternoon by being trampled |

1907-03-12 - Vancouver, British Columbia Died - John BENNETT John Bennett was killed and |
| Wm. Norton fatally injured late on Sat. at Broughton Island Lumber Camp on the coast. Bennett |
| who was foreman and Norton, one of the proprietors of the camp had been blasting stumps out of |
| the way of advancing engines. They fired two shots but one failed. Thinking it had gone out, the |
| two men advanced to the stump and just as they reached it a big charge of dynamite blew off. |
| Bennett's body was thrown 80 feet, his neck was broken and one arm torn off. |

1907-09-03 - Vermilion, Alberta Died - A.E. BENNIE died in the railway yards here when he |
| caught his toe on the switch point, fell and had his arm and leg cut off by the passing car. He |
| was 22 years of age, his mother living in Winnipeg. |

1907-06-17 - Athabasca, Alberta Died - Arthur BENSON Athabasca Landing - An unfortunate |
| drowning accident occurred here on Sun. morning when Arthur Benson. a young man 27 years of |
| age was drowned in the Athabasca River. Benson went in to dislodge some driftwood from a ferry |
| cable, but his canoe was caught by the driftwood and capsized. Benson came here from |

| brings word of the death of Dr. Flood, RNWMP surgeon at the Fort. The dead body was found |
| some 12 miles out from the Fort. The unfortunate young fellow had evidently become lost and |
