BARKER 1907-12-31 - St. John, New Brunswick Died - William BARKER Wm. Barker, a leading

stockbroker, committed suicide while temporarily insane.

BARNES 1907-11-02 - Lumsden, Saskatchewan Died - S.E.H. BARNES of Long Laketon who was injured

about two weeks ago by a plug slowing from a threshing engine died this morning. He was a

pioneer settler.

BARNES 1907-05-25 - Brandon, Manitoba Died - James BARNES Death occurred today of James Barnes,

chief dispatcher of the CPR here.

BARR 1907-11-05 - Seaforth, Ontario Died - Rev. Mathew BARR died here on Sun. He was 93 years of

age and one of the pioneer clergymen of the district having settled here in 1854. He is survived

by his widow and 3 daughters, Mrs. Rev. Neil McPherson being the eldest.

BARR 1907-11-18 - London, Ontario Died - Hugh BARR The body of Hugh Barr, a Lobo farmer was

found in a creek running across the town line between Williams and Lobo Twps. Barr had been

missing for the last 10 days.

BARR 1907-06-06 - Petrola, Ontario Died - Mrs. BARR was standing on the crossing of the Michigan

Central railway track this evening when she was struck by an engine and died in a very short

BARTEL 1907-08-07 - Coburg, Ontario Died - William BARTEL Ex-mayor William Bartel is dead at 76

years.

BAYNES 1907-07-15 - Victoria, British Columbia Died - Mr. BAYNES A longshoreman named Baynes was

killed when a lot of pipes being raised swung around and knocked the man down on the deck

BEAN 1907-06-18 - Fielding, Saskatchewan Died - E.W. BEAN Thrown from his rig in a runaway, E.W.

Bean, a general storekeeper had his neck broken.

BEATTIE 1907-03-08 - Shoal Lake, Manitoba Died - John BEATTIE assistant station agent here, was

instantly killed yesterday in the station yard. His parents reside in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver.

BEATTY 1907-11-15 - Red Deer, Alberta Died - George BEATTY Geo Beatty. proprietor of the Alberta

Hotel was killed by the accidental discharge of his rifle.

BEAUPRE 1907-03-21 - Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta Died - Jean Baptiste BEAUPRE Died - Jean Baptiste

Beaupre. an old timer. Funeral Fri. morning at 9-30 AM

BEGIN 1907-09-12 - Fort William, Ontario Died - Albert BEGIN was run over and killed by a team of

horses. He was 7 years old and son of Albert Begin, proprietor of the Pacific Hotel.

BELL 1907-01-30 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Thomas BELL A young Scotchman, Thomas Bell who

drove a team for R. Moffat of Ross Ave. was killed late yesterday afternoon by being trampled

upon by a horse.

BENNETT 1907-03-12 - Vancouver, British Columbia Died - John BENNETT John Bennett was killed and

Wm. Norton fatally injured late on Sat. at Broughton Island Lumber Camp on the coast. Bennett

who was foreman and Norton, one of the proprietors of the camp had been blasting stumps out of

the way of advancing engines. They fired two shots but one failed. Thinking it had gone out, the

two men advanced to the stump and just as they reached it a big charge of dynamite blew off.

Bennett's body was thrown 80 feet, his neck was broken and one arm torn off.

BENNIE 1907-09-03 - Vermilion, Alberta Died - A.E. BENNIE died in the railway yards here when he

caught his toe on the switch point, fell and had his arm and leg cut off by the passing car. He

was 22 years of age, his mother living in Winnipeg.

BENSON 1907-06-17 - Athabasca, Alberta Died - Arthur BENSON Athabasca Landing - An unfortunate

drowning accident occurred here on Sun. morning when Arthur Benson. a young man 27 years of

age was drowned in the Athabasca River. Benson went in to dislodge some driftwood from a ferry

cable, but his canoe was caught by the driftwood and capsized. Benson came here from

Collingwood, Ont.

BERCH 1907-02-12 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - William BERCH Hudson's Bay Officer at Fort Churchill

brings word of the death of Dr. Flood, RNWMP surgeon at the Fort. The dead body was found

some 12 miles out from the Fort. The unfortunate young fellow had evidently become lost and

had frozen to death.

BERGMAN 1907-01-15 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - M. (Child of) BERGMAN The death occurred yesterday of

the infant child of M. Bergman who is connected with the Cristal Clothing Co. of this city. The

funeral takes place Wed. morning at 10 o'clock to the Edmonton Cemetery.

BERNY 1907-08-13 - Macleod, Alberta Died - Fireman BERNY Engineer B. Murgatroyd and fireman Berny

were killed as a result of their engine turning turtle on a sharp curve.

BERRARD 1907-04-02 - St. Anne, Manitoba Died - Pierre BERRARD an old timer, 64 years of age, was

found dead at the back of his house today.

BERRY 1907-06-15 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - John (Daughter of) BERRY The infant daughter of John

Berry died yesterday.

BEVERIDGE 1907-03-25 - Calgary, Alberta Died - Agnes BEVERIDGE Died on Mar. 18, Agnes Beveridge.

aged 22 years. Funeral will take place from Calgary.

BICKERDIKE 1907-10-28 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Mrs. Robert BICKERDIKE wife of the MP for Fort St.

Lawrence of Montreal died yesterday. She had been in poor health for some months.

BILESKI 1907-03-08 - Whitemouth, Manitoba Died - Mick BILESKI A Galician named Mick Bileski was

brought in here yesterday from camp #1 on Wardrops contract. A premature explosion of a

charge of dynamite while loading a hole in rock work literally shattered his face.

BILL 1907-07-08 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. John BILL Died at 725-3rd St. on the 7th inst. Mrs.

John Bill.

BIRD 1907-06-07 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Robert BIRD the 4 year old son of Robert Bird of

Chambers St. was instantly killed by being run over by an electric car.

BISHOP 1907-03-08 - Brockville, Ontario Died - Sadie Miss. BISHOP a teacher in the Prescott public

school, committed suicide Wed. morning by drowning herself in the St. Lawrence. No reason is
