| with a rifle beside him and the top of his head blown off, Joseph McAllister. a settler east of |
| Grassy Lake, was found dead in a pool of his own blood. An inquest was held and a verdict |
| returned that the deceased came to his death by shooting himself with a rifle while Temporarily |
| insane, McAllister had a large number of friends in the vicinity of Grassy Lake but his relatives |

| pioneers of the district, died today aged 65. She was the mother of ex-mayor McAra. |

| that E.N. McArcher, a passenger on the CNR from Prince Albert, had been found dead in his |
| berth when the train arrived at Swan River. |

| occurred yesterday at Parry Camp about 40 miles east of here on the CPR construction work |
| whereby Alex McDonald, who has been in employment only 3 weeks was killed. He was loading |
| the hole with dynamite when the explosion occurred. The loading stick struck him under the chin |
| penetrating through to the brain. |

| effort to save his little 5 year old daughter Hattie McDougall during a fire in the residence. In |
| spite of the father's desperate courage, the child perished in the room. A lamp in the child's |
| bedroom evidently exploded. |
