1907-05-21 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Auguste NOEL There occurred at the General Hospital the |
| death of Auguste Noel. a prominent barrister of this city. He was taken ill last Fri. with an acute |
| attack of appendicitis. He was born in the province of Que. in 1871, being 36 years of age. In |
| Nov. of 1906, he had gone east to Montreal where he married Miss Lavernene. |

1907-02-23 - Battleford, Saskatchewan Died - Charles NOLIN There died the other day a man |
| whose history in one way or another is intimately wrapped up in that of the Canadian West; in |
| fact it may be stated that no history of the old Northwest Territories that might be written would |
| be complete in which the name of Charles Nolin did not appear. |

1907-06-15 - Revelstoke, British Columbia Died - Frank NORTON a Finn, was found at an early |
| hour hanging from the window of his ceil in the provincial jail. |

1907-03-12 - Vancouver, British Columbia Died - William NORTON John Bennett was killed and |
| Wm. Norton fatally injured late on Sat. at Broughton Island Lumber Camp on the coast. Bennett |
| who was foreman and Norton, one of the proprietors of the camp had been blasting stumps out of |
| the way of advancing engines. They fired two shots but one failed. Thinking it had gone out, the |
| two men advanced to the stump and just as they reached it a big charge of dynamite blew off. |
| Bennett's body was thrown 80 feet, his neck was broken and one arm torn off. |

1907-06-06 - Hamilton, Ontario Died - Clennons NOSEN a foreigner, was instantly killed |
| yesterday by falling from the top of a chute at the Hamilton Steel and Iron Company's works. |
| NOVETTE |
1907-01-21 - Kenora, Ontario Died - Joseph NOVETTE Three men were killed and three men were |
| injured in a dynamite accident at Dutton and McArthurs camp. The men had sprung a hole in the |
| morning and were loading it in the afternoon when without warning an explosion occurred. The |
| names of the dead are Alex McGillivray, foreman; Jos. Novette a Frenchman of whom nothing |
| can be learned and a Galician named John Tomazouski. |

1907-05-09 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Mrs. Alice Maud OBORNE wife of James Oborne, general |
| superintendent of the CPR, died last night. Interment will take place at Montreal on Sat. (May 11). |

1907-09-10 - Strathcona, Alberta Died - William Douglas O'BRIEN The death is announced on |
| Sept. 8 of William Douglas, infant son of Mr. And Mrs. S.Q. O'Brien aged 4 months and 26 days. |

1907-02-27 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. M.P. OCLEY The death occurred this morning of the |
| wife of M.P. Ocley of this city after an illness of about one month. The funeral takes place |
| tomorrow at 2 P.M. from the family residence, Griesbach St. to the Edmonton Cemetery. Rev. |
| Mr. Law of Alberta College will conduct the services. |

| apoplexy and is dead. He was 82 years of age. |

| of Legal, died here at noon on Tues. Mrs. O'Connor who was 23 years of age was only ill for a |
| few hours. The O'Connors came from Seaforth, Ont. about two years ago. |

| his residence on Fri. as the result of an illness contracted in Fernie while there in connection with |

1907-07-19 - Midland, Ontario Died - Edward O'HARA Two men were killed today in O'Hara's wood |
| mills. Edward O'Hara of Midland and Elmer Hewson of Thornburg. A tank of gas was being |
| examined; it ignited and exploded. |

| Thomas Ohiam, a boy of 14 broke through the ice and was drowned. |

| to death in her home which was destroyed by fire. |

| committed suicide by blowing out his brain with a revolver in his office this afternoon. |

| Omand in the Misencordia Hospital. He has been engaged by the D.R. Fraser Lumber Co. for the |

| supreme chief of the IOF has been found dead in bed of the family residence. The deceased was |

| Ontario Court of Appeal and of Dr. William Osler, died today at his residence here at the age of |
| 65. For 15 years he was a practising barrister at Selkirk, Man. |

1907-06-17 - Quebec City, Quebec Died - Zenon OTIS A shocking drowning fatality is reported at |
| Hamilton Cove, Saguenay Co. Several canoes filled with workmen started out to cross above |
| the falls. One of the canoes containing seven men was caught in the current and swept over the |
| falls all being drowned. The victims were: Alfred Gagnon. Geo. Quinn, Xavier Guerin, James |
| Quinn, Phillips Chaffadeau, Zenon Otis, Geo Campion. |
