PALCAK 1907-12-10 - Wostok, Alberta Died - Iwan PALCAK A Ruthenian, Iwan Palcak was killed in a

runaway.

PALMER 1907-02-04 - St. John, New Brunswick Died - George PALMER aged 21, a young man of

prominent family here, committed suicide Sun. morning. He went to the seashore, waded into the

icy water and swam out till he sunk. He has been ailing mentally for some time.

PANKEV 1907-02-12 - Gaetz, Alberta Died - Mr. PANKEV On Thurs. last, Mr. Pankev. a German

homesteader, while mining coal in the Gaetz Valley in the Content District some 30 miles east of

Red Deer, lost his life. He was some distance into the tunnel when the earth caved in and buried

him.

PARKER 1907-05-06 - Montreal, Quebec Died - David PARKER aged 31, son of David Parker, proprietor

of the Albion Hotel, MacGill St. was found dead in his bedroom yesterday, shot through the

breast and no one can tell if it is a case of suicide or accident.

PARKINS 1907-10-25 - Oshawa, Ontario Died - Hardy PARKINS The second floor of the steam and gas

fitting works at Oshawa gave way this morning and crashed down on the main floor killing Hardy

Parkins, a young married man and fatally injuring William Jones.

PATERSON 1907-05-18 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Mrs. Daniel PATERSON While taking a bath, Mrs. Daniel

Paterson of 93 Bloor St. West, suddenly collapsed and died. She had not been well for some

PATTERSON 1907-07-27 - St. Thomas, Ontario Died - Engineer D. PATTERSON Engine #1894 exploded a mile

east of Simcoe and killed Engineer D. Patterson.

PATTERSON 1907-07-05 - Underwood, Ontario Died - George PATTERSON an old and highly respected farmer

of Bruce Twp. committed suicide by taking a dose of carbolic acid.

PATTERSON 1907-11-12 - St. Catharines, Ontario Died - James Archibald PATTERSON lies dead as a result

of a street fight Sept. 21.

PAULTER 1907-10-07 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Nicholas PAULTER a stonemason of Gait was found beside

the Grand River today with a bullet wound in his forehead and a revolver in his hand.

PAULY 1907-04-17 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - A. PAULY The death occurred yesterday afternoon at the

Misericordia Hospital of A. Pauly, a Belgian, who has lived in this city for the past 7 or 8 years.

Interment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

PAYNTER 1907-06-22 - Vancouver, British Columbia Died - Harold S. PAYNTER teller of the east end

branch of the Union Bank was found drowned in the English Bay bathing grounds last evening.

The deceased came west from Ottawa.

PEARCE 1907-08-16 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - L.G. PEARCE lost his life 100 miles up the Saskatchewan

River, being swept off a raft. Pearce was a young Englishman from Verwood, Winnborne,

Dorsetshire.

PEARCE 1907-02-02 - Vancouver, British Columbia Died - George PEARCE Discouraged by repeated

failure to secure employment, George Pearce, a printer of this city committed suicide by taking

carbolic acid. He was one of the oldest residents of this district but being crippled in both hands

and legs was unable to get steady employment.

PENNY 1907-09-16 - Toronto, Ontario Died - William H. PENNY of College St. committed suicide Sun.

morning by gas poisoning.

PEQUILLAN 1907-11-05 - Montreal, Quebec Died - George PEQUILLAN Twelve year old Geo Pequillan died

when he struck his head as the elevator passed a floor and fell down the shaft 50 feet.

PERDY 1907-11-25 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Rowland PERDY a plasterer who stepped on a rusty nail last

week, died in the hospital from lockjaw.

PERKINS 1907-03-07 - Cayuga, Ontario Died - Hattie PERKINS Great excitement prevails here over the

trial of Mrs. Hattie Perkins on the charge of poisoning her husband.

PERRIN 1907-12-04 - St. Thomas, Ontario Died - Hiram PERRIN a Pere Marquette brakeman, was caught

between the cars this morning and instantly killed.

PETERS 1907-09-12 - St. John, New Brunswick Died - Oliver PETERS was shot and killed by a companion

while out hunting at Lily Lake on Sunday.

PETTIT 1907-09-10 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Fred PETTIT Overcome by gas in the Green Meechan Mine,

Cobalt, Fred Pettit. aged 26 from Nova Scotia fell out of a bucket and fractured his skull.

PHILERT 1907-05-02 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. Carl PHILERT The death occurred last night of the

wife of Carl Philert. Mr. and Mrs. Philert arrived in the city about three weeks ago from B.C. The

funeral takes place to the Edmonton Cemetery.

PHILLIPS 1907-06-17 - Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba Died - David PHILLIPS A young man David Phillips

formerly of Philadelphia but who had been living in Winnipeg was drowned here Sat. evening while

in swimming.

PILKIE 1907-08-22 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Beatrice Mary PILKIE wife of Mr. A.E. Pilkie of Vermilion

died at 1 P.M. Tues. Aug. 21 at the Edmonton Hospital.

PILON 1907-09-16 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Henry PILON 27 years old, the first baseman of the

Manhattan amateur baseball club was killed today by being hit on the chest.

PLUMBRIDGE 1907-06-27 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Munce PLUMBRIDGE aged 4 years, was instantly killed

this afternoon by being crushed by the wheels of a wagon loaded with tar. He got in front of the

rear wheel which passed over his head crushing it in a horrible manner.

POLLOCK 1907-07-10 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. K.P. POLLOCK The funeral of Mrs. K.P. Pollock who

died at the Public Hospital on Mon. will leave the mortuary tomorrow for the Edmonton Cemetery.

POLLON 1907-07-10 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. Lizzie POLLON The death occurred at the Public

Hospital last night of Mrs. Lizzie Pollon wife of John Pollon of Minitonas, Man. Cause of death

was heart failure. The deceased was in her 26th year of her age. She has a sister and brother

residing in Edmonton, Mrs. J.M. Sissons and Dr. Dunn. She leaves a husband and one child 2

POLSON 1907-10-29 - Toronto, Ontario Died - F.B. POLSON head of the Poison Iron Works dropped dead

at his residence this afternoon of heart failure.
