SANDERS 1907-11-16 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Edward G. SANDERS The funeral of the late Edward G.

Sanders, who died at the Public Hospital on Thursday will be buried tomorrow. Mr. Sanders came

originally from Carshalton, Co. of Surrey, England where MS parents still reside.

SAUNDERS 1907-01-10 - Maple Creek, Saskatchewan Died - Charles SAUNDERS an old timer and well to do

rancher died very suddenly of cancer of the stomach, aged 53. He was born in the states and

has one brother living there.

SAWYER 1907-08-07 - Halifax, Nova Scotia Died - Rev. Dr. SAWYER formerly president of the Acadian

University at Wolfville and one of the best known Baptist ministers of E. Canada died at

Wolfville last night.

SCHNEIDER 1907-06-17 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - P. SCHNEIDER of Pacific Ave., while attempting to

board a Park Line car, slipped onto the track and the following trailer passed over and mangling

him in a frightful manner.

SCHOONING 1907-09-03 - Pincher Creek, Alberta Died - Ernest SCHOONING was killed at Dutch Flats by the

accidental discharge of a shotgun.

SCOTT 1907-01-02 - Glancoe, Ontario Died - Mrs. C.W. SCOTT At her home in Glancoe, Ont. on Fri. Dec.

28, the death occurred of Mrs. C.W. Scott. relict of the late John Scott of that town. She is

survived by James R. and John A. Scott, and by daughters Mrs. Hugh McDonald of Thamesford,

Ont., Mrs. Wm. Kirkness of Mt. Forest, Ont., Mrs. R.F. Watterworth of London, Ont., and Miss

Lotta, at home. Interment took place at the Kintore burying grounds.

SELIRIANOS 1907-07-17 - St. Thomas, Ontario Died - Peter SELIRIANOS a Greek, aged 18, was instantly

killed today. He was in the engine pit when the locomotive bumped another cutting him in two.

SEVENZER 1907-08-31 - Regina, Saskatchewan Died - W. SEVENZER was crushed by falling earth and died

yesterday afternoon.

SHANNON 1907-08-07 - Kingston, Ontario Died - Thomas SHANNON a farmer living at Ida Hill, was gored to

death by a bull. He was about 55 years of age.

SHARP 1907-10-21 - Fairview, Alberta Died - Thomas SHARP aged 43 who was on Sat. taken from his

home in Fail-view to the Public Hospital suffering from appendicitis, died there this morning.

SHAUL 1907-12-19 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - A.J. (Child of) SHAUL The infant child of A.J. Shaul, died

yesterday.

SHAW 1907-04-20 - St. John's, Newfoundland Died - Sergeant Robert SHAW of Huntingdon, attached to

the Royal Canadian Dragoons at St. John's, was kicked by a horse whole on parade and death

resulted.

SHAW 1907-04-01 - High River, Alberta Died - John SHAW On the 25th inst. after an illness of 3 weeks

there passed away an old timer namely Mr. John Shaw. The deceased was 76 years of age and is

survived by a widow and 5 children. Mr. Shaw came to High River in 1890.

SHAW 1907-02-15 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Edna SHAW Poisoned by angel cake is the alleged cause of

death under pathetic circumstances of 12 year old Edna Shaw.

SHIELDS 1907-07-24 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Charles A. SHIELDS a locomotive fireman was struck and

killed by an engine.

SHOTTON 1907-04-24 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Miss. SHOTTON The funeral took place yesterday

afternoon of the infant daughter of Mr. Shotton. Interment took place in the Edmonton Cemetery.

SHUMLIN 1907-10-24 - Kenora, Ontario Died - Nicholas SHUMLIN On Monday a dukohbor named Nicholas

Shumlin, employed by the Keewatin Labor Co. was instantly killed while working on a horse car

track. He was about 52 years of age and leaves a widow and 2 children.

SIMMONS 1907-01-26 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mr. SIMMONS The death occurred yesterday at the

Misericordia Hospital of Mr. Simmons of Ponoka, of heart trouble.

SIMPSON 1907-11-05 - Belleville, Ontario Died - Mabel SIMPSON Mrs. Ben Simpson left her two children

alone Sun. when she went for a pail of water. On return Mabel, 3 years old, was in flames; she

died shortly after. She had been playing with the fire.

SIMPSON 1907-01-10 - Strathcona, Alberta Died - Frederick John SIMPSON Died at Strathcona hospital on

Thurs. Jan. 2 Frederick John Simpson, aged 31 years. Mr. Simpson has been employed at the

Edmonton Post Office but lived in High Park, Strathcona. He leaves a wife and two young

SIMPSON 1907-07-03 - Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Died - Fred SIMPSON The body of Fred Simpson who

was drowned while bathing last Thurs. was recovered.

SIMPSON 1907-10-08 - Toronto, Ontario Died - William SIMPSON Struck by the boom of a derrick at the

New Ogden School, stonemason Wm. Simpson, died on the way to the Western Hospital.

SLAWSON 1907-03-20 - Woodstock, Ontario Died - William SLAWSON Suspended by a halter from the limb

of a tree, William Slawson, 68 years of age, a farmer, was found by his wife in the woods on his

farm north of here. It seems he mounted a rail fence, fastened the halter around his neck and

SMALL 1907-12-21 - Port Arthur, Ontario Died - Fireman SMALL Fireman Small and Engineer McAllen

were killed last Mon. in a railroad accident.

SMITH 1907-06-05 - Toronto, Ontario Died - W.H. SMITH June 5 - Toronto - While riding on a College St.

car this afternoon, W.H. Smith, former manager of the branch of the Ontario Bank fell dead.

Smith was 70.

SMITH 1907-04-17 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - John F. SMITH who was taken suddenly ill at the Jasper

House recently with an epileptic fit, died in the public hospital this morning. The late Mr. Smith

leaves one son living in this city.

SMITH 1907-01-21 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Frank SMITH 4 Regent St., hanged himself in a cell in #4

Police Station on Sat. afternoon. He was arrested at 4:20 on a warrant charging him with abusing

his wife. Smith was about 50 years of age.
