| Ottawa was killed. His body has not been recovered. William Fixler, aged 35 years, a resident of |
| Schreiber was killed and Edward Ande, fireman, were also killed. |

| Rev. John Von Grunegan, who conducted a grocery store on the corner of Fraser and Gallagher |
| Streets was taken with a sharp attack of apoplexy and he died within a few minutes. The |
| deceased was about 55 years of age, was a Swiss by birth and had come here about 3 years ago |
| from Nashville, Tenn. with a Swiss colony which settled near Lacombe. Deceased leaves a wife |
| and 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy). |

| jumping from an upstairs window. He is the son of Agustus Walker of Orillia Ontario and will be |

| killed at the Bow or Bow Island on the C.P.R. 75 miles east of Lethbridge. He apparently missed |
| coupling and then failed to get back quick enough, being caught by the buffers and crushed. The |
| body was sent to Medicine Hat where the man resided. |

| Deceased was victim of acute Bright's disease. He was apparently in good health until Sat. |
| morning when he was taken violently ill and had to be removed to the hospital and died there late |
| that evening. Mr. Watkins was a molster and had been employed for some time at the Strathcona |
| Brewery. He leaves a wife and 8 children on his homestead 25 miles from Mannville. |
