BRUCE 1907-05-14 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - C.R. (Child of) BRUCE The remains of the 3 year old

child of C.R. Bruce of Fielding, Sask. was sent by this mornings train to Lacombe where

interment will take place.

BUCKEL 1907-06-21 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Benjamin BUCKEL who was in the bow of a canoe

competing in a race, dropped his paddle, lurched to one side and fell into the water dead.

BUREAU 1907-03-14 - Quebec City, Quebec Died - Jean BUREAU 4 years old was burned to death at St.

George De Beauce while left in the house this morning. He was playing with matches.

BURGESS 1907-07-20 - Calgary, Alberta Died - Lilian BURGESS Died on July 18, Lilian Ida Burgess, aged

10 months.

BURGESS 1907-07-29 - Niagra Falls, Ontario Died - William BURGESS was killed by falling over the cliff at

the foot of Queen St.

BURKE 1907-02-01 - Belleville, Ontario Died - Rev. Canon BURKE for 28 years rector of St. Thomas

Church, this city, died in Carleton Place on Wed. night of jaundice. He was 83 years of age and

retired from active ministry in 1902. He was born in Dublin, Ireland.

BURLEY 1907-12-19 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Mrs. BURLEY received a telegram this morning announcing

the sudden death of her mother last night in Toronto. She had reached the ripe old age of 87

BURNS 1907-09-05 - Fort William, Ontario Died - Mrs. (Mother to Pat) BURNS mother of Patrick Burns,

millionaire cattle king of Calgary, died on a sleeping car on the west bound train near here last

night. Heart failure was the cause of death.

BURT 1907-09-30 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - J.A. BURT the 10 year old son of Mr. Burt of Edmonton

Express Co. died at Calgary while on his way to Edmonton.

BURTON 1907-12-05 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - Stanley BURTON clerk in the Bank of Montreal, aged 26,

committed suicide by shooting himself. The deceased came here from Montreal.

BUSHA 1907-05-07 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. BUSHA The death of Mrs. Busha occurred at the

family residence on May St. last night. She came from Ontario.

BUTCHART 1907-03-19 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - R.P. BUTCHART of Vancouver, brother of Samuel

Butchart who shot himself yesterday morning, arrived in the city today. He will leave with the

remains for Owen Sound, Ont. where interment will take place and where relatives of the

BUTLAND 1907-05-09 - Ontario, Ontario Died - William BUTLAND 55 years old, a government employee,

was found hanging from a rafter in his shed on the Russell road this morning.

BUTLER 1907-09-07 - Toronto, Ontario Died - John H. BUTLER Scarlet fever is responsible for the death

of John H. Butler, a well known commercial traveller of the city and his 3 year old daughter

Beatrice Butler.

CALDWELL 1907-12-16 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Robert (Bob) CALDWELL the dearly beloved son of

Robert Caldwell, died Dec. 15. aged 22, years. Funeral is on Tues. to the Edmonton Cemetery.

CALDWELL 1907-05-11 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. John (Colby) CALDWELL The death occurred last

night of Mrs. John Caldwell (Colby in May 13 edition) formerly of Toronto, mother of the wife of

Division Supt. Carey, of the C.N.R.

CAMERON 1907-01-05 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Dr. John D. CAMERON January 5 - Montreal - Dr. John D.

Cameron, a well known practitioner, died today of typhoid fever.

CAMPBELL 1907-10-10 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - A.D.B. CAMPBELL 26 years of age who has only recently

arrived from the old country died at the Misericordia Hospital yesterday.

CAMPBELL 1907-09-18 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Died - John CAMPBELL 25, a brakeman on the CNR was killed

here today by being run over by a CNR train while at work on the bridge over the Assiniboine

River. His parents reside in Edmonton. He was born in Dunrea, Man.

CAMPBELL 1907-11-22 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Antoinette CAMPBELL The death occurred this morning

of Antoinette Campbell, wife of J.A. Campbell of the Campbell Candy store of this city.

CAMPBELL 1907-09-23 - Ottawa, Ontario Died - Sandford CAMPBELL aged 19 years, son of J. Campbell,

Ottawa S., was instantly killed last night being run over by a streetcar near the exhibition grounds.

CAMPBELL 1907-12-26 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Dr. Albert CAMPBELL ex-moderator of the General

Assembly, died at the Manse in Perth yesterday.

CAMPION 1907-06-17 - Quebec City, Quebec Died - George CAMPION A shocking drowning fatality is

reported at Hamilton Cove, Saguenay Co. Several canoes filled with workmen started out to

cross above the falls. One of the canoes containing seven men was caught in the current and

swept over the falls all being drowned. The victims were: Alfred Gagnon. Geo. Quinn, Xavier

Guerin, James Quinn, Phillips Chaffadeau, Zenon Otis, Geo Campion.

CANNON 1907-04-22 - Mount Forest, Ontario Died - Pat CANNON A fatal accident occurred Sat. morning

at the village of Conn on the town line between Arthur and West Luther townships about 8 miles

from Mt. Forest by which two men were killed, while a third lies in critical condition. About

9:OOAM, the boiler at Bishop's chopping and sawmill exploded entirely wrecking the building and

almost instantly killing Norman Gilstorf. an employee aged 21 son of Fred Gilstorf, an Arthur

Twp. farmer and Pat Cannon, a prosperous West Luther farmer who had just arrived with a load to

the mill. Cause is supposed to have been a defective boiler

CANNON 1907-12-27 - Port Arthur, Ontario Died - Jack CANNON teamster of this city, committed suicide

by shooting himself with a revolver. No cause is known.

CARPENTER 1907-09-26 - Hamilton, Ontario Died - Major M.P. CARPENTER representing S. Wentworth in the

Commons for 13 years, dropped dead at his home in Fruitland.

CARTER 1907-07-02 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - J.H. CARTER Died at the Public Hospital on the 1st inst.

CARTER 1907-01-23 - Toronto, Ontario Died - Harold CARTER of 158 Victoria St. has received word that

his father, mother and 8 brothers and 7 sisters all perished in the earthquake at Kingston

CARTER 1907-12-05 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. C.J. CARTER The death occurred last night of Mrs.

C.J. Carter, an old time resident.
