COBBAN 1907-12-05 - Montreal, Quebec Died - C.G. COBBAN Self shooting was the verdict in the case of

C.G. Cobban, cashier of the treasury dept. of the CPR.

COBUSH 1907-10-19 - Cobalt, Ontario Died - John COBUSH A Hungarian named John Cobush was killed

this morning in the McKinley Darragh Mine. An ore car fell on Cobush crushing his skull and

breaking his spine.

COLEMAN 1907-01-15 - Lloydminister, Saskatchewan Died - J.L. COLEMAN Last Wed. the remains of Mr.

J.L. Coleman were interred in the Lloydminster Cemetery.

COLEMAN 1907-02-16 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Mrs. John COLEMAN The death occurred yesterday of

Mrs. Coleman. wife of John Coleman of this city who for many years was homestead inspector.

The deceased leaves a large family.

COLIN 1907-09-11 - Cape Beauld, Newfoundland Died - Joseph COLIN At Cape Beauld on the

Newfoundland coast, William Lagathe and Joseph Colin, both of Quebec, died when they

mistakenly drank wood alcohol.

COLLINS 1907-02-21 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Timothy COLLINS aged 111 years, the oldest man in

Canada and probably the oldest on the continent is dead at his home. The immediate cause of

death is pneumonia. Collins, born in 1795 in Ireland, retained all his mental faculties.

COMEAU 1907-09-09 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Bertie COMEAU The death occurred yesterday of Bertie

Comeau, daughter of FJ. Comeau, late of the province of New Brunswick.

CONAN 1907-02-22 - Wabigoon, Ontario Died - Mr. CONAN The bodies of two men were brought into

Dryden yesterday. They were killed by a premature explosion of dynamite 20 miles north of

Dryden. Their names were Jensen. a Swede aged 32 and Conan, aged 27.

CONGDON 1907-09-04 - Invermay, Saskatchewan Died - William CONGDON A man named William

Congdon, aged 16, was accidentally killed this evening by the accidental discharge of a loaded

shotgun. He was the son of Thomas Congdon, blacksmith.

CONLIN 1907-08-12 - St. Thomas, Ontario Died - Leo CONLIN Leo Conlin. St. Thomas; Jos. McNealy. St.

Thomas and Dr. Brien were killed by the shock of a car load of dynamite exploding.

CONNOR 1907-06-25 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Patrick CONNOR The funeral of Patrick Connor, a native

of St. John's, Newfoundland who died last Thurs. at the sanitarium will take place this afternoon

to the Catholic Cemetery.

CORE 1907-10-23 - North Battleford, Saskatchewan Died - Percy CORE At the home of Chas. Core, a

farmer living 18 miles N.E. of here, Percy, a son of 15 years came in from duck shooting and in

cleaning his gun accidentally discharged it, instantly killing his mother.

COSTELLO 1907-10-03 - Peterboro, Ontario Died - Frank COSTELLO was drowned off a steamer in Stoney

Lake yesterday. He was a son of Michael Costello, aged 6 years.

COTE 1907-06-11 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Arthur COTE Alfred Focault and Arthur Cote, both 18 years

old, died after their rowboat capsized in the river opposite Longue Point.

COTTE 1907-09-04 - Ottawa, Ontario Died - Pierre COTTE aged 53 of Hull, was picking butternuts when

he fell out of the tree and was instantly killed.

COURT 1907-08-12 - Hamilton, Ontario Died - William COURT aged 21, was drowned when his skiff

upset.

COUTTS 1907-02-14 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - George M. COUTTS The funeral of the late George M.

Coutts a Scotchman will take place on Fri. at 2:30 PM from the chapel of the Alberta Undertaking

Co. to the Edmonton Cemetery.

COX 1907-04-19 - Woodstock, Ontario Died - George COX high constable of the county of Oxford,

was found dead in bed at his home this morning. He was 35 years old. He retired in his usual

COX 1907-05-20 - Neepawa, Ontario Died - W.H. COX a railway and lumber contractor working with the

McDonald McMillan Co. on the Grand Trunk Pacific, died in hospital Sun. of typhoid fever. His

parents reside in Brussels, Ont. He was 44 years of age and leaves a wife and 3 children.

CRAIG 1907-01-07 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - Alexander CRAIG The inquest into the death of Alexander

Craig who was killed at the Osborne Mine on Fri. night was held this morning at the scene of the

accident. Deceased was unmarried, 28 years of age and a native of Lorne, County Antrim,

Ireland. He had a homestead near Lloydminster and during the winter was working at the mine.

CREEDON 1907-03-19 - Calgary, Alberta Died - Leo CREEDON Died on Mar. 12, Leo Creedon. aged 28

years.

CREVIER 1907-07-09 - Montreal, Quebec Died - Joseph CREVIER lighthouse keeper at Valois, slipped from

a platform and fell into two feet of water. He landed in a rocky shoal. His head striking a rock,

he was rendered unconscious and he drowned.

CROMBIES 1907-08-27 - Brockville, Ontario Died - Rev. Dr. CROMBIES died at Smith's Falls today. He

was a man who for nearly 40 years has filled a large and influential place in the social and

religious life of the community. He was inducted at Smith's Falls on Mar. 4, 1869 and resigned in

1889. Fifty-two years ago at the age of 34, he was ordained. He was a native of Scotland.

CROOKSHANK 1907-03-21 - St. John, New Brunswick Died - A.C. CROOKSHANK 10th St. Edmonton, Alberta

received the sad intelligence of the death of his brother Allan Otty Crookshank. a well known

resident of St. John and also known to a number of Edmontonians.

CROSSIER 1907-06-05 - Brandon, Manitoba Died - Elizabeth CROSSIER wife of Clarence Crossier was run

over by a CPR engine and instantly killed. Deceased was only 27 years of age having been

married two years ago at Baldur, Man. Her home was in Woodstock, Ont.

CROW 1907-10-24 - Welland, Ontario Died - W.H. CROW died suddenly this afternoon from a stroke of

apoplexy. He carried on a large lumbering business and he was a prominent reformer and

CUNNINGHAM 1907-05-11 - Edmonton, Alberta Died - J.P. (Child of) CUNNINGHAM The infant child of Mr. and

Mrs. J.P. Cunningham. Syndicate Ave., died this morning.
