Pigeon Shoot.
The first live pigeon shoot of the season took place at the Gun club Saturday
when about a score of the members had a bang at the birds. The weather was bad
but a large number turned out.
Inspector Douglas and Captain Barwis had a possible five each and tied for the
first sweepstake. A. C. Shakerley captured the 2nd with a possible 5, and E. F.
T. Hodder, W. H. Heald, J. H. Wilcox and Geo. K. Leeson each had four and
divided the 3rd sweep.
