Result of T.R.A. Matches.
The men competing in the Territorial Rifle association matches on the butts
across the Bow had another fine day Friday. There was a strong, puffy wind
blowing most of the time and made the shooting a trifle uncertain. The sun was
shining all day, but there were still some complaints about the light. The
grand aggregate match was commenced in the morning.
The Territorial Rifle association officers in Calgary found difficulty in
finding markers and as a result no really experienced men were on hand to do
the work. As a result of this many shots have been challenged.
Following are the results of the matches shot Thursday and Friday:
Merchants' Match.
Open to members of Territorial Rifle association. First prize, cup, presented
by C. F. Comer, and cash $15.00, and thirty-three other
prizes.
