HONOR LIST OF THE CHEADLE SCHOOL.
Cheadle, July 10.-- Here is the honor list of the Cheadle school.
3rd book, Wilfrid McKenzie, 89 per cent out of total marks. Highest marks in
school for conduct and application.
2nd book, Mary Lyons, 78 per cent of total marks; 1st in Arithmetic and
grammar.
Bertha Miller, 77 per cent of total marks; 1st in English literature and
writing.
Ella Lyons, 73 per cent of total marks; 1st in composition and junior
arithmetic.
Aylmer Hartell, 63 per cent of total marks; 1st in history, 1st equal in
geography and dictation, Harry and Bertha Miller.
Second, Part 1: Francis Hartell, 70 per cent out of total marks. Highest marks
for attendance; not having missed one day since school opened.
First grade: Ella McKenzie, 88 per cent, 1st writing. Stanley Griffiths, 84 per
cent, 1st in arithmetic. Bertha Hartell, 83, 1st in geography. Howard Lyons, 80
per cent, 2nd equal arithmetic. Leslie Lyons, 70 per cent, 1st equal
geography. George Griffiths, 65 per cent, 1st in spelling.
Highest marks for keeping books clean, Ella McKenzie.
Honorable mention for improvement Leo Neumeyer, Harry McKenzie, Harry Hartell.
