Territorial Appointments
His Honor the Lieutenant-Governor has gazetted the following appointments for
Alberta in the last issue of the N. W. T. Gazette:
Commissioners for taking affidavits: David L. Toews, Sunny Slope; John Flower,
Beaver Hills; Edward H. Noweyn, Innisfail.
Fire guardians: Count L. M. de Chaung, Three Hills.
Resignation: A. H. A. Alloway, as justice of the peace.
Olds has been erected a town municipality, and Henry S. Stevie is returning
officer for the election of mayor and councillors.
New school districts and their senior trustees are as follows: Hartland, Henry
Birkness, Molstad. Ransom, D. C. Olive, Liberal. Bellevue, J. W. Ashdown,
Frank. Sky Glen, R. Campbell, Okotoks. Porcupine, W. H. Hawk, Nanton. Scales,
James Brown, Lamerton.
