UNCLAIMED CHEQUES

 

Northwest Government Cheques Which Have Not Been Paid

 

            Below will be found a list of names to whom cheques have been issued by the Treasury Department of the Northwest government, and which are unpaid or outstanding. In some cases the cheques have been returned by the post office undeliverable and are at the present time in the hands of the Treasury Department. It is in the desire of the Northwest government to try and locate the parties interested that payment may be made before the dissolution of the Territorial government by the creation of the new provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta. If this should meet the eye of any one who is either interested himself or on behalf of friends, the government would be pleased if attention be directed toward the payment of these cheques before July 1 next. Notices have been sent by registered mail to the last known address of each of the names mentioned.
