PRIZE WINNERS AT ST. HILDA'S
COLLEGE CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS YESTERDAY WITH PLEASING CEREMONIES.
The annual prize day took place at St. Hilda's college yesterday when the
prizes were presented to the students by Very Rev. Dean Paget, D.D. The following
prizes were presented to the following students:
Form 1-- General proficiency, Mildred Henry.
Form 2-- First prize, Jeanette Gill.
Second prize, Isabel Skead.
Recitation of poetry, Ethel Bennett.
Form 2-- General proficiency, Clorinda Hall, by reversion to Florence Ericsen.
Scripture knowledge, Clorinda Hall, presented by Rev. Mr. Ryall.
Form 4-- General proficiency, Julia Blue. Presented by the Dean.
Second prize-- General proficiency, Romola Horstmann. Scripture knowledge,
presented by the Bishop, Julia Blue, by reversion to Catherine Graydon.
Special prize for general progress in religious knowledge-- Rosamond Coward.
Prize for French-- Jessie Macleod.
Improvement in English grammar-- Jessie Macleod, by reversion to Emily Bowen.
Good behavior and kindness- Jessie Crawford.
Deportment-- Pauline Stringer.
