New Settlers of Alberta Anxious to Get All
the Educational Advantages-- List of New Schools.
In the current number of the Alberta Gazette, notice is officially given of the
formation of many new school districts within the province. This shows that the
new settlers of Alberta are looking carefully after the welfare of their
children from an educational point of view.
Following are the names of the districts, the senior trustee and his post
office address:
Raven-- D. S. Berry, Raven.
Poplar Dale-- W. Stuart, Spring Lake.
Ribstone-- A. W. Burton, Lloydminster.
Satinwood-- James Sage, Lacombe.
Kaluz-- P. Etoniak, Chipman.
Edwand-- Alec Scorejko, Edwand.
Woodside-- D. Ingram, Hurry.
Highwood-- G. T. Hyde, High River.
Elkton-- J. B. Moon, Didsbury.
Wheat Land-- J. Sawyers, Sedgewick.
Eagle-- P. M. Lyse, Airdrie.
Stony Plain-- Israel Umbach, Stony Plain.
Morrison-- W. Gould, Islay.
The boundaries of the Rosenthal and Stony Plain centre school districts are
amended.
