1216 EDMONTON DAILY NOV 22, 1907 CAMERON, A.W. COLLETT, A.W. BRIN, J.A. HOWLETT, Robert At the R.N.W. Mounted Police barracks yesterday afternoon, A.W. Cameron came up before Inspector Worsley on a charge of misappropriating the sum of $300 the property of A.W. Collett and J.A. Brin of Calgary. The accused was sent up for trial no evidence being put in for the defense. The alleged facts of the case are to the effect that Collett and Brin, who conduct a theatre in Calgary, hired some moving picture films and paid over to the defendant $360 - $60 for a week's rent and $300 for a deposit for their safe return. The films came back about two week's ago but the Calgary men assert that they were unable to get back their deposit from Mr. Cameron. They consequently took action against him. He was released at his recognizance and one surely for $200. 1220 Toronto, Nov 21, Robert Howlett came to the city from New Market on the Metropolitan street railway car yesterday suffering from smallpox. He came here to consult a doctor as to the whether he had the disease. He walked form the car to the doctor's abode, and was thence transferred to the Smallpox hospital. The doctor at Newmarket has told Howlett he was not sure of the disease.
