Vegreville

At the annual meeting of the Vermillion Valley and Beaver Lake Agricultural 
society was held on Saturday. A great many were out. After the routine 
business the most of the time was taken up in discussing the advisability of 
forming a joint stock company. After considerable discussion it was decided 
to meet the Farmers association witch meets on January 1908

The protest entered by Hughson Bros. Of Whitford, with regard to the 
sweepstakes prizes given to John Kelly of Gilpin, was left to the directors, 
who decided to leave the award as was decided at the fair.

R.W. Hughson, was president and declined to accept the office for 1908. But 
would be at the disposal of the society at any time. The following officers 
were elected for 1908
